The Center for Urban Agriculture at Fairview Gardens is an organic farm dedicated to sustainable and regenerative practices putting the culture back in agriculture. The farm is open to the public and hosts a children's garden where we plant, tend, harvest, and eat vibrant, delicious food. As meaningful work is so necessary to the healthy development of all humans, we work closely with the farmers to participate in the real work of the farm. We help to harvest produce, gather eggs, tend animals, prune pollinator plants, and so much more. Of, course, there are also avocado trees to climb, a willow house to live in, salads to make and share with friends, and open spaces to play in. And lest we forget, this is also the home to our beloved Sister Mulberry Tree. |
