Lake Los Carneros, an undeveloped park at the site of an 1850's ranch, is the home of our beloved Oakalyptus tree. If you wonder what kind of tree that might be, see i you can spot her in these photos. The park offers a vast variety of bird species and activity for the children to listen to, observe, and imitate. The open grass lands are alive with grasshoppers and allow us a long view of all of the activity of this bustling natural space. The lakeside tule reeds invite us to jump, hide, build, and rest. Here lives the Eucalyptus Forest and the Woodcutter's Forest, both regular playgrounds for Brother and Sister Hawk. |
